Patients With Insurance:
Patients are expected to bring their insurance cards with them at each visit. Family Medical Center will be unable to file your insurance without a current card on file. Patients failing to present current insurance cards will be made self pay until a current insurance card is received by Family Medical Center.
Co-pays are due at time services are rendered. The amount of your co-pay may be found on your insurance card or may be obtained by contacting your insurance carrier. If you have an insurance with which Family Medical Center participates (for a complete list), we will be glad to file your insurance. Amounts not paid by your insurance company will be the responsibility of the patient.
Family Medical Center of Rocky Mount providers participate in a large variety of insurance plans; accept assignment and are participating providers with Medicare. If the patient has an insurance plan that Family Medical Center of Rocky Mount providers do not participate with, the patient will be expected to pay $100 of the charges on the day of the visit.
Patients Without Insurance:
Private pay patients should be prepared to pay in full at the time of service. Patients who are unable to pay large balances are asked to meet with our Accounts Receivable Department to set up a payment plan. During this time, additional charges should be paid in full at time services are provided.
Collection Policy:
Delinquent accounts will be referred to Southern Credit Adjusters, Inc. Patients will be expected to contact Southern Credit to arrange payment plans.
