*Carolina Access: Family Medical Center of Rocky Mount will accept Carolina Access patients under the following conditions:
- Patient is already established with our practice
- Children (under the age of 18) of established patients.
Carolina Access works much like a managed care insurance company in that the patient will initially need to visit one of our providers for any medical condition. If a referral is needed to a specialist, Family Medical Center will arrange for the referral and supply the specialist with our Carolina Access number. Should a Carolina Access patient visit another doctor for a condition which could have been treated by a Family Medical Center provider, the referral may be denied and the patient will be asked to schedule an office visit with our office.

Patient Assistance Policy:
Family Medical Center does not complete forms for Medication Assistance Programs. The patient may contact Med-Link Volunteer Center or Carolina Family Health Center (Wilson County residents only). FMC will accept fully completed Medication Assistance forms and forward them to your primary care provider for signature and prescriptions if necessary.
